This is a tree stump cake that I made for an 80th birthday celebration for a man who had a career in forestry. The cake was a simple yellow cake with chocolate and vanilla buttercream. The acorns were edible.
I also made cupcakes that I decorated with edible leaves. The cupcakes were white cake with vanilla buttercream.
I also made a small celebration cake for the husband and wife to take home and enjoy later. It was a white cake with vanilla buttercream and edible leaves.

A Birthday Cake and 4 Fall Mini Desserts
This is a cake I made for a 6th birthday. It was white cake with vanilla buttercream, decorated with sugar flowers and Littliest Pet Shop toys.
I made 4 desserts for a Fall get-together. First were Impossible Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes, which taste like pumpkin pie, topped with sweetened whipped cream.
Mini Pumpkin Cheesecakes topped with cinnamon whipped cream
Brown Sugar-Apple Mini Cheesecakes topped with sweetened whipped cream
Apple Cupcakes with 4 different kinds of apples, which were dusted with powdered sugar right before serving

These mini treats were for a 50th birthday party. There was a Hawaiian/Tropical theme with the flavors lemon, lime, coconut, macadamia nut, pineapple, and other tropical fruits.
I made a variety of mini tarts, cookies, and mini cupcakes.

sugar by Mary Ann is up and running!
I am so excited to finally be starting sugar.
Making people feel special by preparing something delicious for them is so much fun for me. I have been busy cooking and taking care of my three kids for the past eight years but with the two oldest in school now, I feel ready to take on a bigger commitment- So here comes sugar!
I can't wait to start baking delicious treats for ya'll. First up is a big 90th birthday party for my husband's grandmother this weekend. I am making an assortment of mini cupcakes- lots of flavors, so stayed tuned to see how they turn out!
